Michael Fitch: “Life in Mondegreen”

Multi/instrumentalist and singer, Michael Fitch has two solo releases to date. “Après La Guerre” was released in 2011 and “Life in Mondegreen” released in 2013. “Life in Mondegreen” floats in and out of a few genres but some of them include, indietronica, folktronica, or even experimental folk, and punk. His songs have a complex array of synths, samples, and real instrumentation with steady rock rhythms supporting it all.  His vocals float along with the mix with a bit of reverb and seem to evoke an almost 80’s dark pop vibe. Some of the songs on the album even channel a punk theme such as track six on the record. Listen and purchase on iTunes.
