Edward Perry is a 19 year old solo lo-fi/pop musician from Portsmouth, England and plays under the moniker, The Boy I Used to Be. He is set to release a new EP entitled Holiday on April 23rd. It includes five songs of mellow acoustic based music with soothing vocal harmonies throughout. The lyrical themes are simple and repeated driving home the ideas which stem from internal struggles, melancholy, day dreams and love. The EP is a little bit M. Ward, a little bit Skygreen Leopards and a great listen.
